We
all know the first 30 seconds are the most important when
meeting
someone. After you leave, they may only have
your
business card and the impression you made on them...
Business
cards vary hugely in design and information.
Once
you have decided on your company name, logo, your
position statement and/or tagline, you are ready
to go to the business card.
To
help your designer, keep all the cards you get
from your networking efforts (especially from
colleagues) and let the designer know which ones
you like and why.
Don’t
forget that you have two sides of the card to
use – the back may be used to explain your
services and/or your value proposition.
If
you have a two-sided colour card, make sure you
have a glossy finish. This makes a huge difference
to how it looks.
Use
color – even if it costs extra, it’s
worth it!
Spend
a little more on a heavier card.
Consider
having a beautiful scene that resonates with you
and your business offerings on your card.
Make
sure your name, your company name, and contact information
are all easy to read.
Your
logo and tagline should be clearly visible on
the front of the card.
Don't
ever leave home without your cards. You never know
who you will run into or where.

attention to a subject depends upon our interest in
it. We rarely forget that which has made a deep impression
on our minds."
